Oh Ireland by the sea

Oh Ireland by the sea
how lucky you are too be
dig a well on Sunday
and maybe one day
your luck will rub off on me

Oh Ireland by the sea
bring my true love to me
by a rusty car or bus or train
o'er near the shore with wind and rain
'tis where he'll come to me

Oh Ireland by the sea
the journey is long you see
for in Ireland lies a long sojourn
on the path 'tis much to be for warned
to bring my true love to me

Oh Ireland by the sea
Will he ever come for me?
Tho the journey's long
I shall guide him along
with a tune and a tambourine

Oh Ireland by the sea
On the cliff of the Castle called sea
where I wait for the one who will be my love
when he comes on bended knee

Oh Ireland by the sea
with a claddagh ring on the foot of dove
that he brought as a present for me
'tis the perfect gift and symbol of love
and no more did I want from he

for he is my one true love
I and him, him and me

Oh Ireland by the sea....

Visions and Meanings

What does it mean to dream? why do you remember some dreams and what do they mean? or do they even have meanings? In my lifetime any dream that I have ever had that I can remember vividly has meant something. I also know that I can only remember about 5 dreams vividly in my entire life. Last night was vivid dream number 6.

My dream:
I'm in my yard at my parents home. I look up at the top of the hill in my neighborhood where you can see some condo's in the neighborhood above. Right as I look up an explosion happens and the hill at the base of the condo's explodes sending flaming boulders into the air. Only they weren't just bolders. They were coin shaped boulders with flaming swastikas on them. About 3 or 4 of them went shooting into my neighborhood falling through 3 different homes in my neighborhood right across the street from my parents house. I immediately run across the street to the closest home and run to the door to see what I could do or if people were hurt..or something I dunno really why I was going there...anyway, as soon as I got up to the door some burning swastika boulders stacked up in front of the door actually becoming the door which then prevented me from going inside. As soon as they were all stacked up and formed into the door the swastika flames took a new shape and spelled out these words: ALMA 52, 1-40. Then I woke up.

WHAT THE WEIRD!

I never remember anything from the Book of Mormon let alone a random chapter in Alma. I don't even think I have read the book all the way through. However remembering that chapter hit me hard, almost like a burning Hitler boulder was wackin me in the face! so I read the chapter. This was the summary: Ammoron succeeds Amalickiah as king of the Lamanites—Moroni, Teancum, and Lehi lead the Nephites in a victorious war against the Lamanites—The city of Mulek is retaken, and Jacob the Lamanite is slain. About 66—64 B.C. Here's the weird thing, there are EXACTLY 40 versus in ALMA chapter 52. Weird huh? but it doesn't make any sense. what does this chapter have to do with me? or my dream? So, I decided to interpret the dream.

Dream Interpretation:

SWASTIKA
-To see the swastika in your dream, symbolizes hatred, evil, cruelty, and destruction. It is commonly associated with the Nazis.

Explosion
-To see explosions in your dream, symbolize your repressed anger. The rage that you have been holding in has come to the surface in a forceful and violent manner. Your unconscious is trying to get your attention.
-To hear the sound of a loud explosion, but you did not see it, indicates that something is about to be exposed or come into consciousness.

DOOR
-To dream that the door is closed or locked, signifies opportunities that are denied and not available to you or that you have missed out on. Something or someone is blocking your progress. It also symbolizes the ending of a phase or project. In particular, if you are outside the locked door, then it suggests that you have anti-social tendencies. If you are inside the locked door, then it represents harsh lessons that need to be learned.

Neigborhood
-To dream about your neighborhood, represents a sense of community. You need to develop new friends and new ties. Consider your waking feelings toward your neighbors.

Coins
-To see coins in your dream, indicates missed or overlooked opportunities that come your way.

Bible (was the closest I got to the B.O.M.)
-To see or read the bible in your dream, symbolizes truth, belief, inspiration and knowledge. You are seeking some form of comfort. The bible may also refer to your fundamental belief system. Perhaps you need to turn to the bible more.
To buy a bible in your dream, suggests that you are trying to justify your actions.

Interesting how your life can be interpreted through dreams right? or explain a chapter in the B.O.M. with metaphoric swastikas. I'm a total weirdie.....

Why is it that we don't always recognize the moment love begins, but we always recognize the moment it ends?

Sometimes, love hurts. The abrasions of love have inspired many a great writer. From Shakespeare to Jane Austen, writers have at some time or the other dwelt upon the anguish called love. A few of the following quotes bring out the heartaches caused by love in the most striking manner:

"When one is in love, one always begins by deceiving oneself, and one always ends by deceiving others. That is what the world calls a romance."

"Oh, innocent victims of Cupid,
Remember this terse little verse;
To let a fool kiss you is stupid,
To let a kiss fool you is worse."

"It takes only a minute to get a crush on someone, an hour to like someone, and a day to love someone, but it takes a lifetime to forget someone."

"There is only one kind of love, but there are a thousand imitations."

So why love at all if it hurts so much? Love has never been defined and never will be. We read novels about love without limitations, see movies about it on the big screen or TV, and that we can live happily ever after, but it's not real life. The fact of the matter is, our expectations are sometimes too high and the poor mate we choose can't humanly live up to what our expectations are. The word "grow up" is the key to this problem. All couples have disagreements, lose their temper every so often, feel like they want to quit in the relationship and move on. When we are young, love can be so magical or hurt to the very core of a person's being and they feel like their life is over. It is because of inexperience and, in youth one is learning. Every heartbreak or every slight from another person you love helps you to become stronger and is a learning path as to what you really do want in a lifelong partner. It 'preps' you for that one true love that I can promise you will meet in the future. It's a tough road sometimes, but we all have our disappointments and lost loves, but manage to live and forge on. When you truly find love, you never lose it. You will realize the guys or girls you 'thought' you loved really wasn't love at all.

Ode to Red Heads

This is what happens when you run out of things to write about.

-What do you get when you cross Raggedy Ann with the Pillsbury Doughboy?
*A really pissed off redhead with a yeast infection!

-What do you get when you mix a redhead, a battery and potato chips?
*A redhead who's Eveready and Frito-Lay.

- What's the true definition of a blonde?
*Redhead with the fire of passion missing.

-A blonde and a redhead met in a bar after work for a drink, and were watching the 6 O'clock news. A man was shown threatening to jump from the Brooklyn Bridge.
The blonde bet the redhead $50 that he wouldn't jump, and the redhead replied, "I'll take that bet!" Anyway, sure enough, he jumped, so the blonde gave the redhead the $50.
The redhead said "I can't take this, you're my friend".
The blonde said "No. A bet's a bet".
So the redhead said "Listen, I have to admit, I saw this on the 5 O'clock news, so I can't take your money".
"Well, so did I", said the blonde, "but I never thought he'd jump again!"

-What do you call a redhead walking between two blondes?
*An interpreter.

-how do you get a redheads mood to change?
*wait 10 seconds

-Two men were talking.
One said: I'd love to be casseroled by a redhead.

"What's that mean?" his puzzled friend said, "Casseroled is a cooking
term, meaning to be done slowly for a long time."

The first man shrugged. "Exactly." he replied.

A redhead went out with a guy who said, "I'm going to make love to you like you've never been made love to before."
A half hour later the redhead plucked a feather from the pillow and stroked the man's head. He said, "What the heck are you doing?"
The redhead said, "Comparatively speaking, I'm beating up your brains."

-A redhead walks into the drugstore and asks the pharmacist if he sells, x-large condoms.
He replies, "Yes, we do, would you like to buy some?"
She replies, "No sir, but if you don't mind I'd like to hang out here until someone does."

-How do you know when your redhead has forgiven you?
*She stops washing your clothes in the toilet bowl.

-What did Raggedy Ann say to Pinnochio in the toy box?
*Tell the truth, tell a lie, tell the truth, tell a lie...

-Only two things are necessary to keep a redhead happy. One is to let her think she is having her own way, and the other is to let her have it.

-Why aren't there any more redhead jokes?
* Someone told them to a redhead
